South Lake Tahoe
South Lake Tahoe is split in two by the states of California and Nevada, providing a very different feel compared to the usual ski town! The main feature is Lake Tahoe itself, providing stunning views at your feet when on the vast slopes of Heavenly Resort. Sierra is also close by to South Lake Tahoe and provides groups with very different mountain experience to Heavenly. Sierra has non commercialised feel and is located in the Sierra Mountain range, giving that unique mountain feel and great snow conditions.
South Lake Tahoe is also home to The Heavenly Village with over 40 shops, eateries and entertainments, groups will be able to keep busy in the evenings. One evening entertainment not to be missed is a pizza and bowling night at Tahoe Bowl located behind the Inn by the Lake.
