Primary School Ski

SkiBound welcome Primary schools to enjoy our Clubhotels, bringing younger groups on a fantastic learning experience in a safe and well managed environment. Read on to find out how by running a primary school ski trip can not only benefit your pupils, but the school and teacher parent relations too.

Sole Occupancy
You can book one of our hotels as a sole occupancy group, giving you the sole use of the hotel and access to all of its facilities.

Location
The locations of our hotels are generally either on the piste or very close by. For example our Clubhotel Turquoise located on the pistes at La Plagne. This is a car free resort with the hotel’s door opening directly onto the pistes with only a 50 metre walk to the ski school meeting point. Our clubs offer storage and in-house ski-fit for all ski and snowboard equipment - ideal for younger skiers.

Educational benefits
The educational benefits of running a primary school ski trip can be underpinned by the Personal Learning and Thinking Skills helping to develop qualities and skills needed for success in learning and life. We can help teachers continue a pupil’s development outside of the classroom in a safe environment with supportive staff.

Community Development
Running a ski trip can help develop a sense of community and build strong parent teacher interaction. We encourage and welcome groups with both teachers and parents travelling on the same party. This often makes for easier ratios of adult to children making supervision easier and providing children with familiar faces whilst being in a new country.

Ski School
With over 25 years of experience in resort, the ski schools are very much used to working with British school groups throughout the season – with specialist English speaking instructors provided and a wealth of experience in providing speciliast tuition to children of all ages.
