Montafon is a much sought-after destination and offers great early and late season skiing. Our groups receive a full valley pass covering the three ski areas; Silvretta Nova, Gargellen and Golm. With many iconic mountains surrounding the resort, skiers appreciate the breath-taking scenery both on and off the slopes. Accommodation options provide convenient access to the extensive and modern lift system in place. Ski, board or snowshoe your way through almost 250kms of sublime scenery and immerse your group in Austria’s traditions, culture and perfect pistes of this quintessential Austrian resort.

On the slopes

The Silvretta Nova ski area will take beginners from snowplough to parallel turns in no time with gentle gradients providing the ideal terrain from which to progress. There are a host of gentle cruisers for those progressing onto blues while intermediates will enjoy the series of wide open reds. Advanced skiers are left out with some of the most challenging black runs in the area on offer with 80% gradients found on Nova and Schwarköpfle. Advanced skiers can take advantage of the lift linking St Gallenkirch and the Hochjoch ski area Finally, no trip to the valley would be complete without undertaking the world’s longest ski tunnel at Hochjoch, which provides an impressive 476 metre ‘short-cut’ right through the heart of the mountain. Providing a very snow-sure environment, the Montafon ski area prides itself on offering something for everyone.
