Nassfeld is situated in the Carinthia region of Austria right on the Italian border. Although it is probably one of the less well known ski resorts, it is recognised as one of the top 10 resorts in Austria.
Resort
Nassfeld boasts a total of 110km of marked pistes and 30 ski lifts including the longest cable car in the Alps. It’s mainly north-facing slopes along with excellent snow cannon coverage ensure good snow conditions throughout the winter season. There is also a floodlit toboggan run and other activities to keep groups busy into the evening.
Ski level
The recently extended ski area allows skiers and boarders of all standard to make the most of their week but it is the intermediates who will be in their element, with over 24 red runs to wear them out.
Snowboarding
Nassfeld is an ideal place for snow boarders where there is a terrain park with rails, jumps and mogul runs.
