In the south of Salzburgerland in Austria, the Oberlungau region is located right where the southern and northern Alps meet, ensuring good conditions right through to Easter. The ski area has been a longstanding favourite with schools, but has been overlooked by adult skiers, meaning uncluttered pistes and minimal lift queues even at high season.
Resort
The Oberlungau ski region is spread out over three areas: Katschberg Aineck, Fanningberg and Grosseck Speiereck. Our groups will begin skiing on the Grosseck Mountain, apart from absolute beginners staying in St Michael who will start on the village nursery slope and then join the others after the first morning.
Ski level
Each of the three areas offer a wonderful variety of skiing for all abilities and thanks to further investment in snow cannons and a new blue run back down to St Michael, groups will now be able to ski right back down to the village.
