Cannon Mountain

State-owned Cannon Mountain, located in breathtaking Franconia Notch, is the farthest north and the most historic of the three resorts that line Interstate 93. When the weather is good, skiers and riders flock to Cannon for the sheer scenic beauty.

All SkiBound groups skiing in Cannon will stay at one of our hotels in Lincoln, New Hampshire and have the opportunity to ski at another resort in the area as part of the standard package. Loon, Bretton Woods and Waterville Valley are all outstanding value all season long and very popular with school groups returning year after year.

Lincoln offers traditional New England charm and hospitality with a spectrum of small shops, general stores, cafés and family run boutiques. From Lincoln, SkiBound groups are able to combine or solely ski the resorts of Loon, Bretton Woods, Cannon and Waterville Valley. To help make the most of your time whilst you are in resort, the ski fitting is done at your first resort and equipment kept for the duration of the week giving your group more time to enjoy the slopes.

Resort
Long known by experts as one of the most challenging mountains in the East, Cannon has now enlarged its beginner and intermediate terrain to provide for all levels of skier and boarder in your school group.

Ski Level
Beginners are well catered for with the new Brookside novice slope, served by its own triple chair and located below the Peabody Base Lodge, where a new building to house children’s programmes has been added. This is still a place for advanced skiers to play, intermediates to push themselves and beginners to learn.

Snowboarding
A half pipe, with pipe-dragon grooming, and a large terrain park can be found at the Peabody Lodge
