Why choose this resort?

Situated just 2 hours away from Boston, the resort of Waterville Valley’s series of upgrades has transformed it into a popular destination for both local Bostonians and school ski groups. Waterville benefits from 100% snowmaking capability across its slopes allowing skiers and snowboarders of all abilities to enjoy the 220 acres of skiable terrain. Waterville accommodation often resembles a typically rustic New England lodge and no matter where you choose to visit in the evening, Loon, Lincoln or in-resort, there’s always plenty of après-ski action to keep your students entertained until lights out.

On the slopes

The resort offers 50 trails allowing every ability to enjoy new and challenging runs all week. While the slopes of Waterville Valley lean in favour of intermediate-level skiers, novices still have plenty of space to develop their snowplough turns. Nearly a quarter of the runs open up to challenging black diamond runs meandering through tree-lined trails, bumps and mogul fields. The more experienced skiers in your group may choose to take on the slalom course of Valley Run. Lovers of fast downhills will enjoy the verticals on Mount Tecumseh with the legendary True Grit giving your expert skiers a real challenge. With the chance to combine your trip with visits to neighbouring resorts such as Cannon and Bretton Woods, you’ll never have to ski the same track twice.
