Why choose this resort?

Situated in the Mount Washington Valley, the resort of Wildcat averages over 5 metres in annual snowfall thanks to its northwestern exposure. Stretching across 225 acres of New Hampshire’s White Mountains, the natural snow is supported by a 90% snowmaking capability ensuring quality conditions throughout the season. Accommodation is ideally placed a short distance from the local amenities providing the perfect base for schools. With scenery always acknowledged by SKI Magazine as one of the best on the east coast, it’s no surprise Whiteface attracts returning groups year on year.

On the slopes

Due to the size of the resort, getting around the mountain is made easier thanks to Wildcat’s lift system transporting your group from the base to the summit in just 7 minutes. 50 trails cater for skiers and snowboarders of varying ability and also includes New Hampshire’s longest trail, the legendary 2.75 mile Polecat. A quarter of the slopes are suited to beginners while those seeking the thrill of American blue-grade trails have almost half of the resort to choose from. Advanced skiers are not forgotten with 30% of Wildcat’s runs classed as black diamond trails and the famous 100k vertical foot challenge on the Lynx trail. The resort not only offers wide-open groomed piste but tree-lined runs and a terrain park providing freestylers with a series of rails and box elements. Mount Cranmore is just around the corner offering twin-centre programmes for seeking additional ski acreage in New Hampshire.
