Serre Chevalier

Serre Chevalier lies in the Southern French Alps, close to the Italian border, and is the collective name for 13 numerous villages and hamlets stretching 10 miles (15km) along the Guisane Valley, from the Col du Lautaret to Briançon, Europe’s highest city.

Resorts
Serre Chevalier is one of the most extensive ski areas in France, offering some 250km of skiing amidst some truly outstanding scenery. The two main skiing bowls are located in Villeneuve and Chantemerle, both above the tree line.

Ski level
There are runs to suit all abilities and fantastic variety, from wide nursery slopes to the most challenging mogul fields. Beginners are spoilt for choice with numerous wide, gentle slopes that offer the ultimate tree-lined ski experience. The higher slopes present great links, enabling intermediate skiers to explore the vast mountainside. The more advanced skiers can tackle the challenging terrain in Monétier-les- Bains or the Olympic black run in Chantemerle. Our lift pass covers the whole Grand Serre Chevalier area, plus a free ski bus between the villages.

Snowboarding
The Snowpark was extended in 2006 in the Alpage sector which includes a big air jump, natural half-pipes and couloirs.
