This chalet once belonged to a substantial farm dating back some 200 years. It was converted into a group accommodation chalet back in the 60s and has been updated and upgraded over a number of years. The setting for this chalet couldn’t be more traditional or picturesque in the small, rural hamlet of Les Chambons.

Le Clos d’Ornon comprises 2 principal wings. The older section is on 3 levels. On the lower floor there is a period dining room with arched ceiling and a small sitting room. The two higher floors house bedrooms with mixed facilities and a couple of activity rooms with some games. The multi-bedded rooms and small dormitories have a mixture of en suite and shared bathroom facilities. The more recent part of the building has further bedrooms, which for the most part are fully en suite.

Accommodation is basic but comfortable, providing an affordable base from which to enjoy and truly extensive ski area.
The chalet has provision for a ski store near the slopes.
