Sierra

The hospitality of the Californians is legendary and no more so than in Sierra, voted the locals’ favourite ski resort in the Tahoe Basin. The breath taking scenery and vast ski area of over 2000 acres is conveniently located just 20 minutes from South Lake Tahoe, making this resort an ideal choice for our school groups.

Resort
Sierra at Tahoe is a 20 minute shuttle ride from the SkiBound accommodation options in Tahoe. Sierra has a natural position that protects it from the wind allowing it to be open all season and keeping all of its snow for its self!

Ski Level
For beginners there are some long trails that are great confidence builders before stepping up to the range of intermediate trails. There are also plenty of advanced trails to improve your technique. Sierra can be skied as a twin centre with any other resort in Tahoe.

There are six varied snow parks at Sierra at Tahoe which are all accommodating for beginners.
