SKIBOUND – HELPING TO MAKE THE IMPOSSBILE VERY POSSIBLE

SkiBound is delighted to announce that during the 2010-2011 winter season, a total of £5,871 was raised for Katie's Ski Tracks, a registered UK charity. This money was raised by SkiBound’s UK head office staff, overseas staff and generous clients staying in SkiBounds exclusive French Clubhotels. An assortment of events took place including raffles, collection boxes and donations for this worthy cause.

Katie’s Ski Tracks changes young lives by taking children from disadvantaged backgrounds, be it through life-threatening or life-limiting medical conditions, disability or extreme social problems on ski holidays - without their parents or carers.

Mark Bush, Managing Director of SkiBound, made the following comment: “SkiBound are proud to support Katie’s Ski Tracks. Back in October 2010, SkiBound decided to support a charity that reflected our industry and interests. Katie’s Ski Tracks got everyone’s vote. We will continue to support Katie’s Ski Tracks and hope to raise even more money during the seasons ahead”.

Katie’s Ski Tracks Chairman, Martin Newman, welcomed Skibound's support stating; "Whilst Katie’s Ski Tracks is a relatively small, little known charity it does have a proud history of making a profound impact on the lives of the children we have welcomed and supported on our holidays. The very fact that the staff of Skibound, one of the most prestigious players in the winter travel and skiing industry, have decided to support our cause has been truly heartening. We are extremely grateful to receive their donation of £5,871 and excited at the possibility of their continued association as this will make a real difference to the lives of the children we will be able to support through their efforts”.
