Marmot Basin is up and running!

26 Nov, 2016 in Canada, North America by Tim Jenkins

It seems it’s not only France who is getting the best of the snowfall early this winter. Cold weather has continued to hit Marmot Basin and the snow-guns have duly made the most of excellent conditions to support snow production.

Now open, the resort is sparking into life with the Paradise Quad Chair and Canadian Rockies Express opening supporting ski schools as they explore the upper mountain. The Eagle Express Quad Chair and Magic Carpet were the first to open providing beginners with great options lower down the mountain.

With 20cm of snow packing into the Marmot Basin over the past 3 Days, it’s time to get excited as SkiBound groups soon arrive to enjoy some of the best skiing Canada has to offer.
