Ski Trip Safety is our prime focus here at SkiBound. We use our effective auditing processes to manage all of the various accommodation styles we feature within our programme. The units have to undergo either a standard audit if not used frequently or undergo a rigorous full audit carried out by a competent member of auditing personnel. Both audit types are completed at regular intervals.

Our Health and Safety Audits are undertaken using the School Travel Forum Safety Management Standards and the leading travel industry's protocols developed by the Federation of Tour Operators (FTO) and leading independent consultants. More details can be found on the STF website or the FTO website

If a unit is deemed un-safe or poses a high safety risk to our clients after being assessed by our trained Health and Safety advisors then it will simply not be used. It is as simple as that!

Safety measures and checks
The topics include: Emergency Procedures, Fire Precaution Means of escape in case of a fire, Hygiene levels are kept to the highest standard possible, Guest Security, General Safety, Electrical Safety, Staff Training and Awareness, Medical Facilities and Ski Equipment.
