Why choose this resort?
Boasting high level skiing and a great snow record, the ski area is a great choice for schools even into Easter. Built as the longest underground funicular in the world, the Mölltal Express transports skiers from the valley to an impressive 2200m on the Mölltal Glacier.
On the slopes
The Mölltal Glacier sees a selection of blue and red runs cascade off to clear open runs. Supporting international ski teams all year round, the resort’s modern lift system takes school ski groups up to 3122m. At its peak, students are presentd with a 360-degree panorama with views extending across the Dolomites and Hohe Tauern mountain range. SkiBound groups also have access to the Ankogel Mountain providing beginners with excellent facilities as well as 7km intermediate home run to approach as their confidence develops.

There is plenty to keep students occupied long after the lifts have closed for the day. Besides local amenities at the base in Obervellach, school groups can enjoy a choice of activities close to the accommodation. Take in an evening of bowling or really build the winter spirit with a night of curling or ice skating.Highlights

The Salzburger Sportwelt is a firm favourite with our groups, as they benefit from a ski pass that automatically covers the entire Amadé ski region. That's 860kms of piste across the Salzburger Sportwelt, Schladming, Gastein, Hochkönig and Grossarl.
