Why choose this resort?

SkiBound can provide school groups with accommodation in the attractive village of Pfunds and larger town of Landeck. Offering good access to the two outstanding ski areas of Nauders (Reschenpass) and Ishgl (Samnaun), our accommodation options sees groups enjoy both the slopes and après-ski activities.

The historic centre of funds is equipped with a great range of shops and eateries. Sitting on the crossroads linking three international borders, Pfunds enables groups to easily access the duty free village of Samnaun. Alternatively, groups can be based in Landeck approximately 30 minutes from the two ski areas.

On the slopes

Choosing Nauders/Ischgl presents the possibility to ski within three countries in one ski trip - Austria, Italy, and Switzerland. Both the Ischgl and Nauders ski areas offer up good skiing across the ability range.

Sharing a border with Italy, Nauders alone has a great network of piste almost equally split across blue, red and black runs. Ideal for beginners seeking to progress, nursery slopes can be found at village level before moving onto the top station of the Bergkastel. Opening out to a host of blue and red slopes, the Bergkastel is also a great stop for snowboarders looking for the thrill of a snowpark complete with jumps, slide obstacles and a halfpipe.

Upgrade to a Gold Card with SkiBound and take on the more difficult runs of Ischgl and Samnaun. Sitting on the border with Tirol, the ski area accessed via Samnaun is a slice of Switzerland. With Ishgl Samnaun supported by 95% snowmaking across its 223km of piste and Nauders Reschenpass having an 85% coverage over its 114 kms of skiable terrain, these ski areas are a popular choice for schools seeking late season skiing going into May.
