Why choose this resort?

Host of the downhill, super G and combined races for both men and women at the Nagano 1998 Winter Olympics, the resort offers some of the most spectacular mountain scenery in Japan.

On the slopes

Happo One offers a fantastic range of skiing, from the wide and gentle slopes at Sakka with two easy pair lifts, to the 1998 Olympic downhill and super giant slalom runs. It's an intermediate skier’s dream with half of the runs suited to this ski level. Your instructors will ensure that you head to the best areas for the group to progress during your stay.

Many skiers enjoy the opportunity to head down between the Riesen quad and the gondola. Whether you choose to head back to the bottom of the gondola or to the Nakiyama base, it’s sure to test your ski legs!
