Parent information

With over 30 years’ experience in the school ski travel industry, parents can rest assured their children are in safe hands. Whether they are travelling by coach or plane, staying in one of our Clubhotels or other accommodation, or heading for the slopes of Europe or North America, SkiBound have everything in place to ensure everyone will be able to have a fantastic ski experience in a safe environment. Our Operations and Contracting Teams have built up relationships with both transport and accommodation suppliers to bring together the best options for schools.

Your school’s Party Leader will be in communication with their designated SkiBound contact throughout the booking process to make all the necessary arrangements for the ski tour. From après-ski options to dietary requirements, our experienced sales and admin teams are on-hand to support Party Leaders throughout the planning of a memorable school ski tour for your child.

We consider a school ski trip to be an opportunity for students to grow outside the walls of the classroom, experience something entirely new, and develop as an individual as they use a number of key skills in a new environment. Communicating and developing bonds with their peers, supporting their friends and organising themselves without relying on their parents are just some of the benefits students can gain from their school ski trip with SkiBound. Many students relish the opportunity to gain some independence while enjoying a week in a different country. For some, it may be their first time abroad without their parents and this enables students to step up and build their confidence in an entirely new setting.

My SkiBound Experience

Many parents would love to share this experience; feel the rush of the slopes and venture into a winter wonderland where the crisp-white powder stacks only make the green of the pine-lined runs all the more impressive. To provide a clearer idea of what your child can experience on a SkiBound ski tour, we have provided below a day in the life account of a student’s trip to our Clubhotel Vallee Blanche in Alpe d’Huez. (Times are approximate)
