Why choose this resort?
Tsugaike is the largest mountain in the Hakuba area, offering a diverse range of pistes and a longest run of 5km. Its gentle slopes and well-planned layout make it perfect for student groups looking to build confidence and skill.
On the slopes
With instructors meeting students at the base area, Tsugaike provides a streamlined and supportive ski experience. Beginners start on the wide learning zone before progressing via gondola to mid-mountain trails. Once ready, students can take on the scenic forest course, a favourite among returning groups.
Advanced skiers will find plenty of challenge across the resort’s varied terrain, while the Eve Gondola, stretching 4000m, offers a breathtaking ride to the summit with views of the towering North Alps, a highlight in itself.
Instructor Information
SkiBound groups receive 5 hours of ski instruction per day from nationally qualified English-speaking instructors.
