Marmot Basin’s Upper Mountain and Eagle Ridge open!

2 Dec, 2016 in Canada, North America by Tim Jenkins

Marmot Basin had a successful opening weekend with an additional 24cm of snow providing excellent conditions for visitors.

With the powder lightly flowing, the Canadian resort has announced the opening of Upper Mountain and Eagle Ridge. Eagle Ridge provides advanced riders with testing terrain and is accessed via the quad chairlift. The forecast looks positive going into the weekend with more snow on the horizon set to make its way to Marmot Basin valley.

A continued effort from the resort team has seen 6 of 7 lifts come to life providing access to a variety of terrain across Upper Mountain, Lower Mountain, and Eagle Ridge. SkiBound school groups set to venture out to Marmot Basin are scheduled to arrive with all lifts in operation. Stay posted to hear more from the Marmot Basin ski resort.
