Passo Tonale is ready for the new ski season

21 Nov, 2016 in Europe, Italy by Tim Jenkins

One of the first Italian ski resorts to open this winter, Passo Tonale is looking set to welcome our school groups for the 2016/17 season.

The Pontedilegno-Tonale district has welcomed new additions with a new cable way providing a link to the glacier’s pinnacle. Whether your school ski groups makes their way to the top with their ski school or decide to leave the ski boots at the hotel as they enjoy the view over the largest glacier in the Italian Alps.

Snow continues to be produced in Ponte di Legno and Temù with low temperatures supporting the operation. As we head into December, the pistes look set to continue to hold the snow well; exciting news for schools heading to this impressive Italian ski region.
