Lower resorts, particularly in early or late season, are more vulnerable to poor snow conditions. A lack of snow not only potentially reduces the quality of time on the slopes but can lead to last-minute transport to higher altitude resorts, unplanned expenses, and disrupted itineraries – the very opposite of a stress-free experience.
