On the slopes
The wide range of beginner slopes provides those new to winter sports the ideal learning platform to develop confidence on the snow before moving to intermediate runs. All in all, you’ll find over 250kms of skiable piste to choose from with a further 50kms of intermediate to advanced pine-lined runs accessible via Vaujauny and Auris. With the longest black run in Europe standing at 16kms, snowparks for snowboarders and 700 snow cannons pumping out fresh powder, the Alpe d’Huez is pretty much the best that France has to offer.
