Shiga Kogen was one of the locations for the 1998 Nagano Winter Olympics, so students will have the unique opportunity to ski the Olympic Course, which hosted the Snowboard men’s & women’s Giant Slalom and the Alpine Skiing men’s & women’s Slalom.

On the slopes

With the instructors meeting the group at the lifts adjacent to their hotel, Shiga Kogen offers a fantastic ski package. Once beginners have started to progress from the magic carpet to the wide beginner trails, they can then begin to explore some of the more challenging terrain.
