Resort
Alpe d’Huez consists of seven different ski areas, each served by an excellent lift system, and offering up to 237 kms of varied piste. For pretty, tree-lined runs head over to Vaujauny and Auris, and for a real challenge why not take on the 16km long black Sarenne run (longest black run in Europe) from the top of Pic Blanc (3300).

Alpe d’Huez remains one of the most exclusive resorts for groups, offering spectacular views and a record number of clear sky skiing days across the season. The vast ski area throws challenges to the advanced snowsport enthusiasts, with a high compliment of beginner areas nearer to resort. The resort is served by 700 snow cannons, which virtually guarantee the ski conditions across the season.
Snowboarding
Snowboarders will also be delighted with the 2 snowparks and immense variety of free-riding terrain available. The Grandes Rousses pass is also valid for one day’s skiing in Les Deux Alpes or Serre Chevalier (cost of transport not included).
