Why choose this resort?

Arguably the best access point to enjoy the Milky Way ski area, Cesana offers school groups a great base from which to enjoy their school ski trip to Italy. The famous ski area is built up from sweeping bowls, outstanding views and slopes snaking through unspoilt wooded areas. For groups consisting of a wide range of abilities, Cesana provides a good choice of slopes from which to progress during the week. The ski school allows students to access great tuition with experienced skiers being guided through the resort’s best slopes. Cesana is a particularly good base for intermediates with a variety of cruiser runs across the resort. As expected from a traditional village close to the French-Italian border, Cesana extends a warm welcome to school groups and easy access to a range of après-ski activities, including ice skating and bowling.

On the slopes

The standard lift pass is the 6-day Montiluna lift pass. This pass covers approximately 90 km of skiing in Cesana and Claviere, as well as 2 days in Montgenevre (France) and 1-day access to the entire Italian section of the Milky Way ski area. As such, groups on a school ski trip to Cesana have access to numerous options available to enjoy a greater choice of ski runs. For schools seeking to upgrade their ski pass for the week, a full Milky Way pass is available covering the entire 400 km area and including 1 day in Montgenevere. Snowboarders and freestyle skiers looking for some action in the snow parks have plenty of options with Cesana, Sestriere, Sauze D'Oulx and Sansicario all offering challenges to the more experienced in your group.
