Why choose Passo Tonale
For our SkiBound groups, Passo Tonale remains the number one choice for Italy with snow-sure pistes, uncrowded lifts and excellent après-ski. As one of the highest resorts in Italy, snow is practically guaranteed and with over 100kms of pistes to choose from, groups on a school ski trip to Passo Tonale will find plenty to suit all abilities. Schools benefit from SkiBound’s strong links with local hoteliers, both in Passo Tonale and nearby Ponte di Legno and Temu.

On the slopes
Beginners won’t have far to travel to find runs suited to their ability near the foot of the slopes while there are an array of progressive reds waiting for those seeking more testing terrain. For the already ski-sure, Cima Bleis and the Valbiolo Valley offer some cracking challenges as well as plenty of stunning snow-covered vistas. The lift system is excellent and includes a cosy 4-seater option as well as the Paradiso cable car. Views from the Paradiso cable car give advanced skiers and snowboarders an idea of the challenging black runs on offer at Passo Tonale. Those looking for the thrill of powder bowls and jumps will love the resort’s snowpark, while those wanting to capture the picturesque views from the glaciers will be faced with plenty of photo opportunities.
