On the slopes
Catering for all on the slopes, Steamboat provides a wealth of variety. Beginners can find their feet on a choice of starter slopes before increasing the level of difficulty. Over 165 trails opens up a choice of terrain taking in everything from groomed cruisers to some of the best tree-lined skiing in North America. With an average snowfall of 8.83 metres and good snow coverage, school groups can be confident of great piste conditions.
Getting around the slopes to the resort’s elevations is made simple with an impressive lift system, including an 8-passenger gondola, five high-speed quad lifts, one high-speed 6-passenger lift, plus a number of chairlifts.

Steamboat creates a vibrant après-ski atmosphere with over 100 restaurants and cafes between the ski area and downtown Steamboat Springs, all are easily accessed via free shuttles.
