Why choose Cesana

Arguably the best access point to enjoy the Milky Way ski area, Cesana offers school groups a great base from which to enjoy their school ski trip to Italy. The famous ski area is built up from sweeping bowls, outstanding views and slopes snaking through unspoilt wooded areas. For groups consisting of a wide range of abilities, Cesana provides a good choice of slopes from which to progress during the week. The ski school allows students to access great tuition with experienced skiers being guided through the resort’s best slopes. Cesana is a particularly good base for intermediates with a variety of cruiser runs across the resort. As expected from a traditional village close to the French-Italian border, Cesana extends a warm welcome to school groups and easy access to a range of après-ski activities, including ice skating and bowling.

As such, groups on a school ski trip to Cesana have access to numerous options available to enjoy a greater choice of ski runs. For schools seeking to upgrade their ski pass for the week, a full Milky Way pass is available covering the entire 400 km area and including 1 day in Montgenevere.
