On the slopes
Across its 3,050ft of vertical skiing and 73 miles of trails, Killington provides beginners, intermediates and advanced-level skiers with a broad choice of runs. Novices in your group may choose to take on part of the six-mile Juggernaut beginner run nearer the end of the week having developed their skills and confidence on the rest of the 17% of green slopes. From the mellow terrain found lower down to the bumps of Bear Mountain, intermediates can choose from 40% American blue-grade runs. 3 heated gondolas and 10 quad lifts help keep the resort ticking over and it is with a gondola ride to the summit where advanced skiers will be in their element exploring the tight trails of ‘The Big K’ including Lower Ovation, Superstar and Killington Peak. Freestyle skiers and snowboarders may seek out any of the 5 terrain parks including the 425ft long super-pipe in the Dream Maker, Timberline, Easy Street, and ‘The Stash’ located in the woods providing a rugged, untouched feel to ramps and natural wood wall rides.
