Our Clubhotel Belle Aurore continues to sell out early every year. Regular guests return year after year to enjoy great standards of accommodation, the extensive skiing and unbeatable standards of service. The bar and large south facing sun terrace are popular meeting places, either to relax, or to head off and enjoy the many activities available in Alpe d’Huez.
It is just 200m to the resort centre and, most importantly, just over the road to the nearest ski lifts (less than 50m), providing easy access to the whole ski area. In good snow conditions you can virtually ski to the back door of the hotel!
Ski fit and storage
As you would expect from a SkiBound Clubhotel, to offer you the best service and value for money, our in-house team of ski technicians will recommend and fit the most suitable equipment for your group. This ski fit and storage is within the hotel so it’s as easy and stress free as possible. We use the very latest equipment supplied by Salomon to ensure the highest possible standards of safety and performance.
Ski pass options
Our standard prices include the Alpe d’Huez ski pass that cover all of the pistes shown on the map, including the Auris Oz and Vaujany options with an ample 248km of pistes, whilst upgrading to the full Visalp pass gives the opportunity for ski away days – ask our sales advisors for details.
The Clubhotel Belle Aurore has just 38 rooms, the majority of which are 4 bedded typically with sets of bunks per room. All rooms are of a good size with en suite facilities. Most rooms are south facing with large balconies and extensive views over Alpe d’Huez.
We know how important it is to provide you, your pupils and their parents complete peace of mind so all of our staff are carefully selected for their skills and experience, and then carefully screened. We operate 24 hour staffing of the hotel with an English speaking night porter on duty every night. Entrance to the hotel is by a coded door.
Our standard accommodation option provides a good buffet breakfast, packed lunch and two course evening meal. However, there are many upgrade options available, please contact us for further details. Returning to the hotel for a hot or buffet lunch is a popular option due to the Belle Aurore's excellent location by the slopes.
In addition to the large restaurant and bar area, that we happily make available for evening activities, the Belle Aurore has a comfortable lounge area with large TV and DVD player which is ideal for evening entertainments. Alpe d’Huez has a fantastic range of après-ski options including ice skating and a sport centre with outdoor pool.
