On the slopes

The well-groomed slopes present not only suitable conditions for skiers but also for snowboarders. Beginners will be able to master their snowplough turns on the nursery slopes found a snowball’s throw away from the accommodation allowing those new to skiing to maximise their time locked into their skis. Groups will soon progress from the village to the mountains with a number of blue runs providing the perfect base to improve their ski skills. Over 40kms of red runs await the intermediates in your group with a huge array of developing and challenging runs, while the more experienced skiers will also be faced with a choice of testing runs. Combine this all with uncrowded slopes and an efficient lift system and you’ll soon realise why Heiligenblut is a great choice for all abilities and those seeking late-season skiing.
