Why choose Piancavallo
Situated at the base of Mont Cavallo, Piancavallo has hosted a number of alpine skiing events in the World Cup since the late 1980s. This purpose-built ski resort was the first Italian ski resort with snowmaking facilities. The lift system and ski area have been particularly well-planned with beginners able to enjoy a wide range of slopes and stunning views. The purpose-built village is small and safe and allows easy supervision for school groups. The village includes a covered shopping arcade, bars, cafes and pizzerias. The resort also has an excellent ice skating stadium.

Après-ski
The village of Piancavallo is small and allows for an easy-to-supervise environment for school parties. Groups can enjoy time wandering around the covered shopping arcade, cafes, bars and pizzerias. The excellent ice-skating stadium is also a favourite along with the Alpine coaster. Departing between the Palaghiaccio and the Tremal 1 charlift, the Alpine coaster runs side by side with the Salomon slope and is over 1000 metres long!
