On the slopes
Doorstep skiing gives groups the chance to make the final run home with the minimum of effort, whilst easy access to the Goldried gondola enables those new to the slopes to reach those all-important nurseries straight from the off. Arriving at the top station, the whole ski area unfolds with a great choice of open blue and red runs. With 8.5kms of blue runs, 22.5kms of reds, and 6kms of black runs to choose from, Matrei Kals is the perfect resort for mixed-ability school ski groups. More confident skiers may wish to tackle the 12km home run from the Cimaross top station. Freestyle skiers and boarders are well looked after with a fun park offering jumps, rails and kickers. With a 90% snowmaking capability, this area is a great choice for early and late-season skiing.
