Why choose Tauplitz and Loser-Altaussee
The popular destination of Tauplitz and Loser sees groups return year after year to experience the typical alpine architecture and pine-fringed Christmas card views. Staying mid-way between the Tauplitzalm and the Loser, the beautiful Grundlsee is filled with picturesque villages that have changed very little over the years. The main town of Bad Aussee offers a number of après-ski options, representing good value for groups seeking a mix of quality on and off the slopes.

On the slopes
School ski trips to Tauplitz and Loser-Altaussee begin the week in Loser, where the short lift queues and uncrowded pistes provide the ideal base to progress. Students can then progress onto Tauplitzalm, covered by the lift pass, which includes 34km of blue runs and 29km of reds. The well-groomed slopes and good winter sports infrastructure mean groups can maximise their time skiing thanks to a modern lift system. Experts have almost 10kms of advanced runs to choose from, offering challenging gradients and outstanding landscapes that your students are unlikely to forget.
